HKYHUB is a team hub for youth and travel hockey — schedules, RSVPs, rosters, team chat, rankings, and game challenges. By creating an account or using HKYHUB on the web or in our mobile apps, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an HKYHUB account. Players under 13 do not hold their own accounts; their information is entered and managed on their behalf by a parent, guardian, or authorized team staff member. If you create or manage information about a minor, you represent that you are their parent or guardian, or that you are team staff acting with guardian consent.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You may not share your account, impersonate another person, or misrepresent your role or team affiliation. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
HKYHUB exists to serve youth sports communities, and we hold conduct to a higher standard because minors are present. You agree not to post content that is abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive, or unlawful, and not to use the platform to spam, scrape, or interfere with its operation.
We have zero tolerance for harassment, exploitation, or abuse of minors. Any such conduct results in immediate account termination and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement. If you see something concerning, report it to [email protected].
Coaches and team managers control their team's space on HKYHUB — the roster, schedule, results, and team chat. Team staff are responsible for the content posted in their team's space, for adding only players whose guardians have consented, for keeping roster and schedule information accurate, and for removing members who leave the team. You retain ownership of the content you post; you grant HKYHUB the limited license needed to store and display it to the audiences you choose.
Coach and team manager roles may require verification by HKYHUB administrators. HKYHUB may request confirmation of your affiliation with a team or organization, and may revoke elevated access if an affiliation cannot be confirmed or is found to be misrepresented.
Certain features — currently, booking player development sessions — involve payments, which are processed by Stripe. Prices, refund terms, and session details are presented before you pay. Development sessions are provided by the coaches and trainers who offer them; HKYHUB facilitates the booking and payment but is not the provider of the session itself.
HKYHUB's core team features are free today. We may introduce paid team subscription plans in the future; if we do, pricing will be clearly disclosed before anything is charged, and no team will be charged without affirmative action by an authorized team member.
Rankings, records, and game results on HKYHUB are community-driven and depend on the accuracy of information submitted by teams; they are provided for interest and convenience, not as an official standing of any league or governing body. Faceoff challenges are offers between teams — scheduling, ice time, and the games themselves are arranged and carried out by the teams involved, and HKYHUB is not a party to those arrangements.
Guardians may optionally store player medical notes and emergency contacts for the convenience of team staff. This feature is not an emergency response system and not a medical record. HKYHUB does not verify medical information, and teams and guardians are solely responsible for its accuracy and for maintaining their own emergency procedures. In an emergency, always call 911 or your local emergency number.
You may stop using HKYHUB and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create risk for other users, or misuse the platform — with immediate effect in cases involving the safety of minors. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (such as liability limitations) will survive.
HKYHUB is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content — including rankings, schedules, or user-entered information — is accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HKYHUB and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for disputes, injuries, or outcomes arising from team activities, games, development sessions, or interactions facilitated through the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to HKYHUB in the twelve months before the claim arose.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Michigan.
We may update these terms as HKYHUB evolves. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
